Beach Resort Salalah has been with Booking.com since 2013. It is located right on the beachfront in Dahariz. This modest hotel boasts glorious views of the Arabian Sea. Good-sized airy rooms are simply furnished and include AC, flat screen TV, WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities and a seating area.
Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast at Dolphin Restaurant which aims to serve a fusion of locally sourced Salalah specialities and traditional fare. The restaurant has an extensive menu for lunch and dinner, and special dietary requests can be arranged. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Newly opened, The Beach Café offers a variety of tea / coffee, fresh juices and small treats that can be enjoyed in house or as take away.
Beach towels and sun lounges are provided free of charge to guests. There are fixed umbrellas in front of the hotel on the beach, a sundeck and terrace plus a decent sized pool for guests' use.
Popular Dahariz café strip is a leisurely 5-minute walk where cafes and small restaurants provide alternative eating venues. Salalah International Airport is a 12km drive away. Our ocean facing King room had a fantastic view of the ocean/ beach. Room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable with one pillow each. AC was working fine. wifi was of extremely poor quality 65Mbps and often non-existent. Bathroom shower is small, low water pressure and needs an upgrade. We had no water for 4hrs one night. The outer Hotel building looks molded and could do with a paint job to make it look more attractive. The hotel offers towels for the beach. Breakfast for 4 Rials could improve with some more healthier options, breakfast had boxed chicken nuggets and fried samoosas, a few fresh fruit/ salad items and pastries, bread and jams. Veggie omlette, beans, sausages and mini pancakes. There are no "Resort" facilities.

A good hotel in a beautiful location right on the beach

The location was amazing.. right on the beach where you can watch both sunrise and sunset. The hotel is a short walk along the beach from some cafes and restaurants. The room was huge - comfortable bed, good AC, fridge, sea views. Breakfast was a buffet available in the restaurant with a good selection of hot and cold foods. Reception staff were very helpful and were able to assist with my request for late check out.

I stayed for 3 nights and the room was not cleaned once. I don't know if this is normal.

Fantastic stay at a very beautiful location

Location is fantastic with many restaurants around. Supermarket is across the road. Cars can be parked in front of the hotel. Rooms are big and ok, everything you need is there. Had a beautiful room on the top floor with balcony. Couldn't book it with booking.com but could do it directly at the hotel. There is also breakfast available. If you don't expect a all inclusive resort and prefer the local spirit, you will enjoy your stay.

The safe in the room was broken.

Nice Stay!

As most people note, the location can't be beat! Quiet area with not a whole lot to do but the beach is very nice...almost deserted during the time of my stay.

Yes, the rooms are basic and dated, but a good value. Breakfast was okay.

All in all my stay was very comfortable. Can surely recommend to somebody else.

The room was very good with a nice beach view and all the staff were really friendly.

The outer view of the building is affected by the sea water and it does not look nice. Should be painted again. And they should provide slippers for washroom.

The location was amazing, and the staff super helpful and friendly.

The bay window on the balcony was cracked and the net curtains needed washing as they were badly stained.

A hotel that could look better if the windows were washed and the curtains washed

- good location of the hotel right on the beach - nice and helpful staff, they made us a Karak tea on request - spacious room with a view of the beach - breakfast for 4 OMR was good, we missed fresh vegetables and better coffee than instant, but they cut the vegetables for us on request, which we appreciated

- the hotel facilities are nice, but unfortunately neglected, especially the cleaning- very dirty windows and curtains, so when you want to look outside, it's all splattered with bird droppings, the windows on the staircase are so dirty that you can't see through them. It's a shame, because otherwise the hotel would have looked much better - the faucet by the sink could use a replacement, it's very corroded - my friend caught a flea or a bedbug from the mattress, he was bitten by it in the morning, it would need pest control

Good value 3 star hotel on the beach.

This 3 star hotel is in a quiet beach front location a 10 minute drive from the centre of Salalah town. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff friendly and welcoming. There is a restaurant which is open for breakfast and dinner, but only until 9.00 pm. There is no bar but if you want a beer the Crowne Plaza is a 10 minute walk along a road with pavement and street lighting.

A home away from home!.

The hospitality of the entire staff, be it the reception desk or the housekeeping, was amazing. The receptionist, Ms. Eli cared for the guests genuinely. She made sure that no one was left unattended. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Salalah.

Two things were disappointing:- 1. The WiFi 2. Noise from the connecting room.The rooms need to be made sound proof.
