Beach Resort Salalah has been with Booking.com since 2013. It is located right on the beachfront in Dahariz. This modest hotel boasts glorious views of the Arabian Sea. Good-sized airy rooms are simply furnished and include AC, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities and a seating area.

The hotel is in the process of refurbishing guest rooms and rebranding its vision to become more competitive in the market. Beach Resort Salalah is committed to being more eco-friendly and invites guests to join in our more sustainable nature project. This transition includes reducing single use plastic, providing locally sourced produce in our restaurant, and contributing to reducing water usage where possible.

Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast at Dolphin Restaurant which aims to serve a fusion of locally sourced Salalah specialities and traditional fare. The restaurant has an extensive menu for lunch and dinner, and special dietary requests can be arranged. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Newly opened, The Beach Café offers a variety of tea/coffee, fresh juices and small treats that can be enjoyed in house or as take away.

Beach towels and sun lounges are provided free of charge to guests. There are fixed umbrellas in front of the hotel on the beach, a sundeck and terrace plus a decent sized pool for guests’ use.

Popular Dahariz café strip is a leisurely 5-minute walk where cafes and small restaurants provide alternative eating venues. Salalah International Airport is a 12km drive away.
Parking is available in front of the hotel.

All in all my stay was very comfortable. Can surely recommend to somebody else.

The room was very good with a nice beach view and all the staff were really friendly.

The outer view of the building is affected by the sea water and it does not look nice. Should be painted again. And they should provide slippers for washroom.

Great place by the beach

The location was amazing, and the staff super helpful and friendly.

The bay window on the balcony was cracked and the net curtains needed washing as they were badly stained.

It was good experience overall. Maybe a bit overrated for this amount of money.

I liked the location as it was located right at the beach.

It could be cleaner and the internet sometimes doesn't work well.

A home away from home!.

The hospitality of the entire staff, be it the reception desk or the housekeeping, was amazing. The receptionist, Ms. Eli cared for the guests genuinely. She made sure that no one was left unattended. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Salalah.

Two things were disappointing:- 1. The WiFi 2. Noise from the connecting room.The rooms need to be made sound proof.

Nice Stay!

As most people note, the location can't be beat! Quiet area with not a whole lot to do but the beach is very nice...almost deserted during the time of my stay.

Yes, the rooms are basic and dated, but a good value. Breakfast was okay.

Clean, comfortable, secure and friendly.

Clean, comfortable, secure and friendly. No unnecessary florishes. Basic but tasty buffet and al la carte menus. Great service. Good location. Excellent reading room and cafe with beach views and verandah shade.

The hotel is located right on a public beach with an access road between the hotel and the hotel beach umbrellas (whose fronds need refreshing). This means you are not insulated from community life (a good thing) but that the busy-ness can sometimes be an issue - especially the Friday evening cavalcade of beach buggies and the rubbish left by locals parking on the beach at night. Not a deal breaker but discomforting.

The hotel is simple and basic compared to other more...

The hotel is simple and basic compared to other more glamorous hotels in the area but has basically everything. Rooms are big and clean, beds are comfortable, air con, TV and a little fridge. Toilet was small and with minimal accessories but clean and adequate. Breakfast is basic but has all the needed without excesses. Restaurant is basic indian cuisine, I suggest to use it in case you don't want to go out but there's much better around. The position in front of the Ocean is breathtaking and one of the most exclusive in Salalah, they provide beds and fresh towels everyday, sometimes the big umbrellas are all taken above all if a big tour group is there. All in all worth the money we spent and would go back there for sure.

It's not a luxurious hotel but has pretty much everything but the swimmingpool. Remember it's a public beach in front of it (really meteres away) and so by night local people tend to picnic there and the next morning the beach looks sometimes full of their remains, I think the hotel should invest more on cleaning it, it's not obligatory I know but still would be a great improvement for the guests. Scenary wise the location is excellent and quite near the city but you MUST have a car as the surroundings aren't anything attractive, lots of buildings are being built right now but as for the rest looks quite abandoned but VERY safe so don't worry

The rooms are big but super dirty, towels are ripped and old, and we had to ask for more towels as they provided only a set for one person, WiFi has the slowest connection I have ever experienced. Furthermore, staff is not very welcoming, In total a super disappointing experience. We left earlier because we just couldn’t stay there anymore!

Beach Resort Salalah. Great value for money.

Friendly staff throughout the hotel who can't do enough for you. The location of the hotel is fantastic and the hotel is currently getting a makeover which will make it even better. Don't expect western standards though but we found it very comfortable, accommodating and welcoming.

The cleaners sometimes forget to do certain things. On more than one occasion, we had to ask reception for toilet paper, tea bags and more towels because they weren't replaced. They were quickly provided, once asked for.

Very good and pleasant stay. Would recommend to anyone.

The location of the hotel is very good. Very close to the sea. Nice view from the balcony. The breakfast was good. The staff were good. The beds were comfortable. The room was big enough.

The room smelt bad a little bit. The AC was causing the bad smell. Lighting in the night was poor. The lights were very dim.

4 day mini break

Hotel was clean, rooms were big. Beds comfortable. Hotel less than 50 meters from the sea. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good cheap base for getting out and exploring. If you want spoiling and to chill by the pool, you're better going up the road to the Crowne plaza.

Surrounding area run down, but it's a 3 star hotel in the local area so don't expect 5 star resort. Issues with AC in rooms and moved rooms 3 times due to faulty units. I think the mirrored glass for the bathroom was back to front? You could see yourself in the mirrored glass showering and nothing else and yet you could see into the bathroom clearly from the room!!

A memorable one! Might drop in again when on a budget break.

I loved the location of the hotel and we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade. We loved waking up to the beach view and the breakfast was fresh too.

- They should have provided a dental kit and replaced soaps regularly. Both didn't happen - The white lights in the rooms are off-putting

1 - 2 nights stay is recommended...weather is excellent for barbecue on the beach

Location is fantastic in between desert and beach....lovely pleasant weather

Require a few restaurants nearby....need to drive 15 mins to get to the nearest coffee shop/restaurant

Not a resort but a hotel

Despite my booking for non sea view room, observing my dislikeness towards their hotel, they offered me sea view room. Applause

It's not a resort. It's a hotel. Swimming pool is in another building. It doesn't have it's private beach like any other resorts. Breakfast is not levish and cannot count it under continental breakfasts. Wifi in the rooms almost does not work. No carpet in the entire hotel. Not even door mats. Towels provided were white colored, one can easily find stains on it.
